ENERVA™ Control

Model your entire depot energy setup: grid, solar, storage, and chargers. Optimise charging costs and ensure power is always available when your fleet needs it.

The Tool

Configure, simulate, optimise

ENERVA™ Control works hand in hand with the Route Planner. Once you know how much energy the vehicles need, it models the entire charging and energy setup to ensure there is always enough power, at the right time, at the lowest cost.

Start by configuring a site location with its grid connection. Add solar panels and batteries if they are available. Layer in on-site loads such as offices or plant equipment. Add vehicles and chargers. Define a schedule. The system calculates energy flow and pricing across every hour of operation.

The model also handles inter-site trips and mid-route charging, ensuring that vehicles operating between multiple locations will always have enough energy to complete their work without disruption.

Vehicle-to-Grid

Your fleet is a battery asset

A commercial EV sitting in the depot is a large battery connected to your site. With V2G (vehicle-to-grid) capability managed through ENERVA™ Control, parked vehicles can discharge stored energy back into the site or the grid during peak pricing periods, then recharge when power is cheapest.

This transforms every vehicle into a revenue-generating energy asset. The battery that moves your freight during the day can support your site or earn revenue from the grid overnight. ENERVA™ Control ensures vehicles are always charged and ready for their next scheduled departure, with no compromise on operations.

When solar generation, on-site battery storage, and V2G-capable vehicles work together as a managed system, the power required from the grid drops dramatically. That means smaller grid connections, avoided or deferred infrastructure upgrades, and significantly lower demand charges. These savings compound across every vehicle you add.

Smart Energy

AI-driven optimisation

ENERVA™ Control integrates real-time wholesale electricity spot pricing and AI-powered solar generation forecasts to make intelligent decisions about when to charge, when to store, and when to export. Your site actively manages energy rather than simply consuming it.

AI solar forecast: predict available generation hour by hour

Battery storage can absorb cheap overnight power and solar surplus during the day. Vehicle charging is scheduled around both, so your fleet charges when energy is at its lowest cost.

The result is a site that costs less to run, puts less strain on the grid, and ensures vehicles are always charged and ready when the schedule demands.

Why It Matters

The commercial case for managed charging

Avoid grid upgrades

Unmanaged EV charging can exceed your existing grid connection capacity. Managed charging with solar and storage reduces peak demand, deferring or eliminating expensive infrastructure upgrades that can cost hundreds of thousands of dollars.

Lower energy costs

Spot pricing varies dramatically across a 24-hour period. Charging at the cheapest hours and avoiding peak demand charges can reduce electricity costs significantly compared to unmanaged charging.

V2G revenue

Parked vehicles become revenue-generating assets by discharging to the grid during peak pricing. V2G is increasingly mandated for commercial charge points and represents a growing opportunity to offset vehicle ownership costs.

Solar integration

AI weather forecasting predicts solar generation hour by hour. ENERVA™ Control schedules charging to maximise self-consumption of free on-site solar energy, reducing grid dependence and energy costs further.

Operational certainty

Every vehicle is guaranteed to be charged and ready for its next scheduled departure. ENERVA™ Control manages the charging priority, timing, and energy allocation automatically so operations are never compromised by energy availability.

Scalable architecture

ENERVA™ Control scales with your fleet. Add vehicles, chargers, solar, or storage and the model recalculates automatically. No system replacement as your fleet grows, and no costly re-engineering of your energy infrastructure.
